Night Operations Supervisor

The Night Operations Supervisor position requires top cleaning experience/skills and the ability to communicate effectively with the customers, fellow supervising staff and those personnel you supervise.

Primary duties include:
  • Training new custodians under adequate supervision and using the training sheets.
  • Answering supervisor cellular calls and coordinating any work-related situations/help.
  • Coordinating with supervision and the Oneida office regarding Oneida custodial staffing issues.
  • Coordinating with the Oneida office regarding Oneida custodial matters.
  • Resolving customer complaints, requests and suggestions with tact, discretion and patience.
  • Ensure buildings with the necessary equipment and supplies.
  • Ensure completion of all cleaning specifications/monthlies and assuring custodial staff’s adequate knowledge of cleaning systems and schedules.
  • Safeguarding of company and customer property.

General Office Cleaning

The key role is to maintain the cleanliness of professional office buildings, private and public areas, to a very high standard. Must be a reliable person able to work independently.

This would include:
  • The vacuuming of offices and corridors
  • Emptying all waste bins – garbage and recycling
  • Cleaning the glass and mirrors
  • Dusting all flat surfaces
  • Sweeping and mopping floor surfaces
  • Cleaning and disinfecting the bathrooms and toilets
  • Clean areas as assigned
  • Ensure that offices are odor free
  • Report anything in need of repair or replacement to the appropriate person
  • Keep your cleaning area and space clean and tidy at all time and your cleaning materials safely stored
  • Be familiar with the required care standards regulations governing your job
  • Maintain polite and good communication with your fellow colleagues and supervisors at all time
  • Be prepared to receive and undertake further training as required

Maintenance Engineer

The key role is the maintenance and repair of all building components to a very high standard. Must be a reliable person able to work independently and have or be able to learn diverse talents.

Some responsibilities include:
  • Positively interact with tenants
  • Carry out tenant repair and comfort requests
  • Repair and preventative maintenance of HVAC systems
  • Repair and maintenance of plumbing
  • Operation and maintenance of boilers
  • Maintenance and repair of steam systems
  • Maintenance and testing of safety systems including emergency generators, emergency lighting, fire alarm systems and sprinkler pumps
  • Repair of minor electrical such as switches, outlets and ballasts
  • Adjust digital controls on a computer and install digital and pneumatic controls
  • Operate plow truck, skid steer and tractor for snow removal of sidewalks and parking ramps
  • Maintenance and repair of building apparatus such as doors and windows
  • Re-key locks and cut keys
  • Guide and assist subcontractors during repairs and installations
  • Assist subcontractors on tenant remodel projects
  • Ability to work alone or with others on tasks

Seasonal Position

The role of this position is to assist in the following departments on a seasonal or temporary basis. Individual must be dependable, motivated with strong communication skills and able to work independently.

  • Lawn Care
  • Power Washing
  • Ramp Flushing
  • Ramp Sweeping
  • Snow Removal
  • Window Cleaning

Daytime Building Custodian

The role of this position is to respond to a variety of cleaning and maintenance tasks within professional office buildings, private and public areas. Individual must be dependable, motivated with strong communication skills.

Some responsibilities include:
  • Responding positively to tenant requests
  • Able to perform work with interruptions throughout the day
  • Ability to work in a variety of buildings and locations
  • Un-locking and locking of building entrances
  • Checking building entrance areas, lobbies, glass, etc. for cleanliness
  • All duties involving garbage and recycling items
  • Fluorescent tube changes
  • Assisting with any move job
  • Snow removal
  • Vacuuming of offices and corridors, as needed
  • Sweeping and mopping floor surfaces, as needed
  • Clean areas as assigned
  • Report anything in need of repair or replacement to the appropriate person
  • Maintain polite and good communication with your fellow colleagues and supervisors at all time
  • Be prepared to receive and undertake further training as required

Window Cleaner

The key role is to maintain the cleanliness of interior and exterior widows of professional office buildings to a very high standard.

Window cleaners wash glass surfaces in offices and many other kinds of buildings. In addition to windows, they often wash glass partitions, mirrors, and other glass surfaces. Window cleaners use brushes, sponges, or wet cloths to apply soapy water or other cleaning solutions to the surfaces. They dry the wet glass with a cloth, chamois skin, or squeegee. When they work on windows above the ground floor, window cleaners use scaffolding, ladders, or special swinging seats.

Part-time Parking Lot Attendant

The key role is to provide friendly, courteous and expedient service to patrons of the parking lot. It is very important that you arrive at work, always with a positive attitude, ready to make the customers feel welcome and appreciated.

Attendants usually sit in booths at the exit of a parking lot. Customers simply take tickets from automatic ticket machines as they enter. When they drive to the exit of the parking facility, they present the tickets to the attendant, who calculates fees and takes payment. During slow periods, attendants may be required to perform light cleaning duties with the booth or in parking lot.

Parking Valet

The key role is to provide friendly, courteous and expedient service to patrons of the parking lot. It is very important that you arrive at work, always with a positive attitude, ready to make the customers feel welcome and appreciated.

When customers drive in, valets give them numbered claim tickets, which they must turn in when they pick up their cars. Customers hand over their cars to the valets, who then park the cars. When customers return, the valets quickly find the cars and return them to the customers. Sometimes they take payment and make change for customers. Valets make note of the time their customers plan to return. If customers intend to return quickly, valets park their cars near the exit. Cars of customers who plan to be gone for several hours can be parked farther away from the exit. During slow periods, valets may wash down the parking decks and perform other maintenance work.
